Zander Boucher Obituary

Zander M. Boucher

Brookfield-Zander M. Boucher, age 5, unexpected passing on, Saturday, September 3, 2022, is being mourned by his family and the community..

Zander was born January 14, 2017, the son of Lindsay Bellair and Damien Boucher.  On September 2, 2022, he enjoyed his first day of kindergarten at Brookfield Central School. From his birth, Zander was a joy to all his family, and a symbol of purity and innocence.  If you had a chance encounter with him, you would never forget Zander.  He would always welcome all with, “Hi, I am Zander!”  He was the unofficial “Mayor” of Church Street, riding his bike, and taking time to visit his neighbor’s.  He loved his time spent with his grandfather, Lee, going fishing and family outings.  He especially loved going to the Brookfield Race Track, in the side by side, riding with granddad for laps around the race track. He always looked forward to a trip to McDonalds’; he had a fondness for McDonald’s Hamburgers.  Zander took on his responsibility as the, “man” of the house and protective big brother to Parker.  In his five short years of life, Zander was an example of a life well live, exemplified by his love and kindness to all.  He was an “Angel” on earth, his spirt of love and kindness will remain with us all for eternity.

Zander is survived by his mother Lindsay; and his younger brother Parker; his father Damien Boucher; his maternal grandparents, LeRoy and Connie Bellair; his maternal great grandparents Ed and Shirley Householder; his maternal great-great grandmother Joyce Hannhas; his maternal great-great-grandfather LeRoy S. Bellair Sr.; his paternal grandmother Betty Coleman and her fiancé, Mike; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.  Zander also leaves behind all his play friends on Church Street.

He was predeceased by his maternal great-grandmother, Elaine Scantlebury, and his maternal great-great grandfather Robert S. Hannhas.

There will be a visitation in support of Zander’s family on Saturday, September 10, 2022 at the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield, 10426 Church Street, from 2 PM until 5 PM. Zander’s family will have family committal services at a date to be determined in Brookfield Rural Cemetery.

It is requested, please no flowers, please consider a donation in Zander’s name in care of his mother, Lindsay Bellair, P.O. Box 186, Brookfield, N.Y. 13314, to assist the family with future financial needs.   Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.   To offer a message of love and support, please visit: paulfuneralhome.net
