Wilma Curtis

Hamilton- Wilma Curtis, 100, passed peacefully in her sleep on September 28, 2022 after a short stay in Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton, NY.

Wilma was born in Brookfield, NY on September 01, 1922.  She was the daughter of Edward and Alieux (Rombough) Card.  Wilma graduated from Brookfield Central School and Utica School of Commerce.

Wilma and her husband Bob (who predeceased her in 2008) started a business, Hamilton Pharmacal Company, in 1950.  The company produced veterinary pharmaceutical products and was later sold to West Agro, Inc. in 1968.  Wilma was Office Manager until the factory was sold in 2013.

Wilma is survived by her son Mark Curtis and his wife Patty.  Wilma was predeceased by her brother Merle Card and sister Grace Chesebro.  Wilma has several nieces and nephews.

Burial will take place on October 8, 2022 in her home town of Brookfield.  The service will be a private family affair.
