William C. WiswellBrookfield-William C. Wiswell, 91, of Brookfield passed away on February 9, 2022 at Waterville Residential Care Center.He was born in Montpelier, Vermont on January 29, 1931. He was the son of William and Eudora Abbott Wiswell. Bill graduated from Brookfield Central School in 1949. He worked 36 years and retired from the Town of Brookfield Highway Department. In 1953, he married Sophie Homa. A loving marriage that lasted 66 years until Sophie's passing in 2019.Bill is survived by his four children, William Wiswell, Dolores Elliott (Walt), Elaine Rogers and Mark Wiswell (Janice). Eight grandchildren: Diane (Patrick), Michael (Megan), Jeffrey, Steven, Alicia, Andrea, Brie, & Cassandra. Ten great grandchildren: Alana, Madelyn, Natalie H., Elizabeth, Thomas, Evelyn, Natalie K., Ethan, Sophia & Jackson.Bill was predeceased by his parents, his wife Sophie, two infant children, his sister Yvonne Fontaine, and brothers, Jack and Sonny.A special thank you is extended to the nurses and aids at Waterville Residential Care Center.The services are private and at the convenience of the family.
