William H. VanNortMadison-William H. VanNort, 54, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 28, 2016, at his home, with his beloved children and loved ones at his side.He was born on February 18, 1962, in Utica, the son of the David and Shirley Land VanNort. Bill attend Brookfield Central School. He had numerous vocations and jobs throughout his life. Prior to his illness, he had worked at NY Pizzeria, in Waterville, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. His greatest joy in life, was his love for his children and grandchildren, and his devotion to his sisters and brothers. Bill is survived by his beloved children, Jessica VanNort, and her fiancée, Timothy Kupris, of Chadwicks, Rachel Marriott, and her husband, Leon, of Bouckville, Jon VanNort, and his wife, Pearl, of Cassville; his beloved sisters, Marjorie Zediker, and her husband, Mark, of Brookfield, Kathleen Ulisse, and her husband, Timothy, of Poquoson, VA, Sally Preston, and her husband Robert, of Cold Brook, Brenda Brown, and her husband, Greg, of Brookfield; his beloved brothers, David VanNort, Jr., of Newport Richie, Fl, and Jerry Plows, and his wife, Carrie, of Ilion; 10 grandchildren: several nieces and nephews. A special friend, Steven Bentivenga, of Rochester, also survives Bill.He was predeceased by his father, David, his mother, Shirley, his daughter, Christine Eilers, and his niece, Ashley VanNort .Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016, at 12:30 PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield, with the Rev. Mark Thall, pastor, of the Brookfield First Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Unadilla Forks Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to attend callings from 11Am-12:30 PM, prior to the service.
