Victoria Lee Hoffman-Becker Obituary

Victoria L. Hoffman-Becker

Clinton — Victoria Lee “Vicki” Hoffman-Becker, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 9, 2026, at her home.

Born on June 20, 1983, in Hamilton, she was the daughter of Judy (Goff) Murphy and the late Walter Cobb. Known to everyone as Vicki, she grew up in Hamilton and was a graduate of Hamilton High School, Class of 2002. She continued her education at SUNY Morrisville.

Above all else, Vicki was a devoted and fiercely loving mother to her daughter, Erica. Long before she remarried, she worked tirelessly as a single mother, determined to provide stability, love, and opportunity for her child. Erica was the center of her world and her greatest accomplishment. Motherhood was not simply a role for Vicki — it was her purpose and her pride.

In May of 2025, Vicki married Simon Becker, beginning a new chapter of life.  Even though their time together was brief, they lived a lifetime of love and devotion. Throughout her career, she worked primarily in the food service industry, where her work ethic, warmth, and natural ability to connect with others made her especially skilled in catering large events. Most recently, she was employed at Vernon Downs Casino at Mr. G’s Restaurant.

Vicki loved the outdoors. Whether fishing or simply enjoying time outside, she felt most at peace surrounded by nature. She will be remembered for her loving spirit, happy disposition, and the vibrant smile that could light up a room.

She is survived by her husband, Simon; her beloved and cherished daughter, Erica Palmer (Nick Felming) of Fort Sill, OK; her loving mother, Judy Murphy of Cortland; her sisters, Kimberly Tanner of Cortland and Colleen Salisbury;  her brothers, Jamie Cobb and John Gardner; as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.

She was predeceased by her father, Walter Cobb; her beloved sister, Kelly Tanner; and her infant son, Gabriel.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 14, 2026, at 2 PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Family and friends are invited to call from noon to 2 PM at 3592 South Street, Madison. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. Compassionate and personal care is being provided by Jeffrey T. Paul, Director. To offer condolences, please visit paulfuneralhome.net.
