NORTH BROOKFIELD- Sue Ann Johnson, 71, of Ouleout Rd, passed away peacefully with the love and support of her sons at her side, on Monday, April 15, 2019 at the Waterville Residential Care Center. She was born November 25th, 1947, in Utica, a daughter of Everett Wilson Bugbee and Josephine Furner Bugbee. She attended Waterville High School and North Brookfield Elementary School. On August 13th, 1966, Sue was married to her best friend and soulmate, Frederick Charles Johnson. Sue worked part time at various businesses including the former Waterville Knitting Mill and former Chesebrough Ponds factory in Oriskany Falls. However, her full-time dedication was being a loving wife and raising her three boys, who she loved unconditionally. She loved to visit with family and friends, and especially cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Sue loved to do crosswords puzzles, watch the Buffalo Bills, and cheer on the Syracuse Orange. She was a dedicated Catholic and a loving, caring and kind hearted person.She is survived by her three sons and daughters-in-law, Randy and Donna Johnson, of Waterville, Duane and Becky Johnson, of Waterville, and Brian and Melinda Johnson, of North Brookfield; sisters, Margaret (Harold) Kiel, of Oneida, Kathy Bugbee, of Waterville, Vera Schactler, of Oriskany Falls; brothers, Kevin (Pam) Bugbee and Steve (MaryAnne) Bugbee, all of North Brookfield. She is also survived by six cherished grandchildren; Benjamin Johnson, Miranda Johnson, Coye Johnson, Alexandria Johnson, Darren Johnson, and Nathan Johnson. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 51 years, Frederick Johnson; her parents; two brothers, Jerry and James Bugbee; and two sisters, Norma Ramsdall and Sharon Simmons.There will be a "Celebration of Sue's Life" to honor Sue's memory to be held on Saturday, May 4th, at the North Brookfield Firehouse, starting at 2:00 pm. The family suggest that any desired memorial contributions be sent to the North Brookfield Fire Department. There are no calling hours and interment services are private.
