Sidney F. FuessSidney Francis Fuess, 76, a lifelong resident of Madison, NY passed away at home on Wednesday, June 14, 2017. He was born November 6, 1940 and was the son of Ray & Carrie Fuess & Viola & Frank Leone. He was married to Laura Peters Fuess for 58 years. Sid started dairy farming with his father and ended farming with his sons. After retiring from the farm, he was a newspaper "paperboy", which gave him an opportunity to enjoy country side conversations. He really enjoyed his Thursday lunch travels with the "Silver Heads". Sid loved playing cards, enjoyed riding his Kubota, taking care of his show pigeons and took pride in mowing the lawns. He was an avid bowler, who coordinated the annual Canandaigua tournament for thirty plus years. He was a Jets fan, and traveled to watch the local basketball teams. He always kept an eye on the family farm and looked forward to visits with family and friends.Surviving are his wife, Laura (Chip) and his children - Cynthia & Kris Snyder, Randy & Wanda Fuess, Gary Fuess & Amy Klein, Kevin & Christine Fuess and Vicki & Rick Mayne. He has multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren. Brother, Norman & Marlyn Fuess. Brother in laws William Peters, Thomas Peters & Rosie Ingalls, sister in laws MaryJane Turner, Lois & Phil Fairchild. Several nieces & nephewsPredeceased by step brothers, Robert Landringham and Joseph(Cindy) Leone, sister-in-law, Dorothy Waterman, brother-in-law, George Turner and a grandson, Brock Fuess. Calling hours are scheduled Friday June 16,2017 from 1:30 pm - 5:30pm at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Funral services will follow with the Rev. Raymond Lighthall officiating. Interment will be in Madison Cemetery.Donations can be made to the Madison Ambulance or the Madison Methodist Church, Madison, NY.
