Shirley B. Day Fuller Bajgerowicz

Boonville-Shirley Beth Day Fuller Bajgerowicz, 88, a former Oriskany Falls resident, and more recently of the Presbyterian Home, passed away peacefully, with the love and support of her family at her side, on Thursday, June 13, 2024, at Wynn Hospital.

She was born on June 23, 1935, in Utica, the daughter of the late Frances James and Kathyrn Emma Rose Day.  She was raised in Utica and was a graduate of the Utica Free Academy.  Shirley furthered her education by taking various business courses.  She married Arthur Fuller and together; they raised 4 cherished sons on the Fuller Farm in Madison.  Shirley later went onto marry Edward Bajgerowicz Sr., and together they had 2 sons. She retired from MVCC, where she had worked in the Registrar’s Office.  Previously she had been employed as a Key Punch Operator at the Utica Club Brewery.  Shirley was a devoted mother and grandmother, spending time with her family, no matter the occasion.    Her love of family remains her life legacy.

Shirley is survived by her sons: Chris Fuller of Madison, Bruce Fuller (Christine) of Madison, Robert Fuller (Sabrina Pierce), of Madison, James H. Fuller of Boonville, and David Bajgerowicz (Ronda Foster)  also of Madison; her sister Gail O’Rourke of Painesville, OH; and her half siblings: James Day (Deborah) of Utica, Dennis Day (Cindy) of NC, Bonnie Newberry (Thomas)  of Marcy, Carolyn Day (Scott Gilbert) of Madison, and Timothy Day (Marlene) of Holland Patent.  Shirley leaves behind 12 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren, numerous sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews and close friends.

She was predeceased by her parents Frances and Katheryn (Rose); both her husband’s, Arthur Fuller and Edward Bajgerowicz Sr.; her cherished son Edward Bajgerowicz Jr.; her daughter-in-law Mary Squadrito Fuller; her siblings: Raymond Day, Robert Day, Richard Day, and Lawrence Day; and long-time special friend Charlie Blair.

Shirleys funeral will be held on Sunday, June 23, 2024, at 1PM, at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison, with the Reverend Jennifer Neidhart officiating. This day would have been Shirley’s 89th birthday and all she wanted this year was “lots and lots of flowers.”  There is also a visitation at the funeral home from Noon until 1 PM.   Interment services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
