Shane F. Kabana Obituary

Shane F. Kabana Brookfield-Shane Franklin Kabana, 25, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at his home. He was born in Hamilton on August 9, 1995, the son of Franklin L. Kabana Jr. and Sherry Woolsey (Kabana ) Perretta. Shane was raised in Brookfield and graduated from Brookfield High School. He always had a love of fishing and hunting, especially with his grandpa, playing rummy with ‘Granny', and working the truck/tractor pulls and watching wrestling with his dad. He enjoyed "four wheeling" and all the adventures a ride would bring. Shane had worked various jobs in the maintenance and handyman field. He especially loved family gatherings, having camp fires, and "horsing around" with the family kids. Shane lived his life on his own terms, he will be deeply missed by all who loved him. He is survived by his parents Frank Kabana Jr. and his companion Shawn Fuller, and Sherry and Joe Perretta; his sisters and a brother-in-law: Elizabeth and David Saya, Samantha Kabana (Scott Parry) and Natalie Kabana; his brother Ethan Kabana; his daughter Isabella Pelky and her mother Kayla; his paternal grandmother Thelma Kabana; his maternal grandmother Sharon Woolsey and Clint Abrams; his three uncles: Ed Woolsey and his companion Tammy Duncan, Paul Kabana, and William Kabana; his aunt Elissa (Mike) Wisnoski; his niece Aryannah Parry; his nephews: Leo Saya, Landon Saya, and Nicholas Parry; a special cousin Jace Bishop; along with numerous other aunts, uncles, and cousins. Shane was predeceased by his paternal grandfather Frank Kabana Sr., his maternal grandfather Arthur Woolsey, and his uncle and aunt Doug and Tari Woolsey. Funeral services for Shane will be held on Wednesday, July 28, at 4 PM, at the First Baptist Church of Brookfield with the Rev. Mark Thall, Pastor officiating. There will be a visitation at the church from 2 PM-4 PM, prior to the service. A celebration of Shane's Life will follow in the church's Fellowship Hall. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield.
