Utica Ronald J. Foster Sr., 42, passed away unexpectedly because of a motor vehicle accident on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, in the Village of Morris.

He was born in Hamilton on November 9, 1982, the son of Ronald S. Foster and Joan Schumaker Foster. Ron grew up in Madison and attended Madison Central High School. For the last four years, Ron has worked for Zielinski Asphalt and had previously worked for the Fuller Paving Company and James Bray. Ron deeply appreciated the beauty of Central New York and would enjoy many a family scenic drive outing. He especially loved the fall with all the colors that nature had to offer, with many journeys to Adirondacks. From his youth, Ron had been an avid fan of the New York Giants. He also enjoyed Syracuse basketball and football. Ron was a devoted father who loved his children deeply and two years ago was blessed with twins Ronald J. Foster Jr. and Shyloh. Ron was a devoted father and loved his children Rami, Ron Jr., and Shyloh. His absence will be felt by all, but he leaves a legacy of love and caring.

Ron is survived by his life companion Lisa Kupris; their cherished children: Rami, Ron Jr., and Shyloh; his mother Joan Foster; his sister Ronda Foster; his brother Clinton Foster; his nieces and nephews: Ryan Russell, Josh Russell, Cody Russell, Ava Foster, Ivy Foster, and Austin Foster.   Aunts, uncles, cousins, and numerous close friends also survive Ron.

He was predeceased by his father Ron and his brother Dale.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, at 3 PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. There will be a visitation at the funeral home prior to the service from 1-3 PM. Interment services will be private. Ron and his family are being provided compassionate and personal care by Jeffrey T. Paul Director of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
