Roger T. Stedman

Madison-Roger T. Stedman, 94, a life resident of Madison, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the Waterville Residential Care Central, where he was admitted a week earlier.

Roger was born in Oriskany Falls on August 28, 1929, the son of the late Clarence and Alma Crandall Stedman.  He was a graduate of Madison Central School. Roger had been employed in a few different fields of employment.   He was a devoted caretaker and guardian of the Madison Village Cemetery. His love for the cemetery and the community was his labor of love, keeping the cemetery in pristine manicured lawns.  He will always be remembered a kind and helpful man, with a great sense of humor.

Roger is survived by his children and their spouses, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents Clarence and Alma, and his former spouse Ruth Martin.
