Robert L. TerryRobert L. Terry, 62, of Hubbardsville, passed away peacefully on Thursday August 27,2020 at Abraham House of Utica. He was born on September 14,1957, in Utica's Faxton Hospital, the son of Robert Terry and Alice Terry Elliott. He attended Hamilton High School. He worked at many jobs throughout his life. Robert was a very talented craftsman and loved working with wood. He made many things for his family and friends that will remain keepsakes for many years. He also enjoyed being with, and working with his twin brother, John. What one didn't come up with the other one would. He also loved to fish with his sister, Kathy, and nephew, Andrew. He loved campfires and barbeques, always eager for visitors. Robert is survived by his mother, Alice Elliott of Hamilton; his sister and Brother-in-law, Deborah and Emmett Furgeson of Binghamton; his brother and sister-in-law, John and Jerri Terry, of Hamilton, his Brother Ron Terry, and partner, Camp, of Jacksonville, Florida. Robert was predeceased by his father, Robert Terry, step-father, William Elliott and sisters, Sharon Terry Love and Kathy Terry Tompkins. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A special nephew, John E. Terry, III. also survives Robert. He will be dearly missed!In keeping with Robert's wishes, services are private and at the convenience of his family.
