Munnsville-Randy Fuess passed away at home surrounded by family on December 17th, at the age of 64.
Randy is survived by his mother Laura (Chip )Fuess of Madison; wife Wanda Fuess; children Jacob (Allison) Fuess, Justin (Jamie) Fuess; grandchildren Margo, Adelaide, and Jameson Fuess; siblings Kevin (Christine)Fuess, Gary (Amy)Fuess, Vicki (Rick) Mayne, and Cindy (Kris) Snyder; mother in law Barbara Andrews; brother in laws John (Cristy) Andrews, Wayne (Susan) Andrews, Shane Andrews, sister in law Denise Rueckwald, and several nieces and nephews. Randy was a lifetime resident of Madison, NY, the son of Laura and Sidney Fuess. Randy graduated from Madison high school in 1978, which is where he met his devoted wife, Wanda. The two were married in 1983 and recently celebrated 41 years together.
Randy dedicated his career to his farm, Fuess Acres II. He was a devoted father to both of his sons and would do anything for his family. Known as Bompa to his grandkids, he was always there to provide them with their favorite snacks and cuddles together with him in his chair.
In his spare time Randy could be found in a hunting blind on the search for that year’s biggest Buck, at the Dome watching some ‘Cuse football, or helping out when needed at Starlight Acres. He was the best Santa every year, and he will be greatly missed and always remembered by those who knew him.
Funeral services will be held on December 22, 2024, at 4 PM, at the Madison United Methodist Church, with the Reverend Jennifer Neidhart, Pastor, officiating. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours at the church from 2-4 PM, prior to the service. Following the service, there will be a celebration of life held in Randy’s honor at the Munnsville American Legion Post.
