Randi S. BikowskyMadison-Randi S. Bikowsky, 63, passed away on Sunday, December 2, 2018, at his home, with the support and love of his family at his side, following a lengthy illness. He was born in Oneida, on June 2, 1955, the son of late Henry and Bernice (Maine) Bikowsky. He was growing up on the family farm in Munnsville, and graduated from Stockbridge Valley Central School. Following high school, Randi entered the Embry Riddle Aeronautical College in Florida, with aspirations of being an airline pilot. He later went on to finish his education at MVCC. Randi was a caring person and warmhearted person, and felt he would be a great help to those in the back of the plane, instead of piloting in the front of the plane. Thus, starting his career as a Flight Attendant with the former Allegheny Airlines, which merged with U.S. Air, which allowed him to finish his flying career with American Airlines, with 40 years of service. Throughout his career he traveled to many exotic places, and saw worlds that only some read, or dream about. When home, Randi deeply cared for his other family members and enjoyed time spent with them, he will be deeply missed.He is survived by his two brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas (Duke) and Margie Bikowsky of Hamilton, and Donald and Kristy Bikowsky of Munnsville; a sister-in-law, Mary Bikowsky, of Madison. Randi is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Randi was predeceased by his parents, Henry and Bernice, his brothers Thomas (Tim) Bikowsky, and Phillip Bikowsky, and sister Pamela Bikowsky.In keeping with Randi's wishes, graveside services will be held at a later date in Madison Village Cemetery. Cremation took place at the Waterville Crematorium. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
