Phyllis J. Miller Norwich-Phyllis J. Miller,68, of Eaton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 15, 2016 at the Norwich Health and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on March 19, 1948, in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Rego Casey. Phyllis was a graduate of St. John The Evangelist High School, Class of 1966, and also attended Syracuse University. In DeRuyter, on October 11, 1975, she married Richard D. Miller. Phyllis was a fiber optics technician, for over 20 years, retiring from Verizon in Syracuse. Phyllis had a love for horses.She enjoyed raising horses and attending horse shows. She will most be remembered as a devoted wife, mother and sister. Phyllis is survived by her beloved of husband of 41 years, Richard; her son, Jeffrey Miller, of Eaton; her brothers, Patrick Casey, of Syracuse, and Ross Casey, of Minoa: a nephew, Erin Casey, of Syracuse; and many close friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2016 at 2 PM at the Paul Funeral Home 3592 South Street in Madison. Interment will be in Eaton Cemetery.
