Ilion-Phoebe Eddy, 72, a former Bridgewater resident, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 10, 2016, at the Mohawk Valley Health Care Center, with her loving family at her side.She was born May 7, 1943, in Herkimer, the daughter of the late, Charlie and Marjorie Bruce Horning. In 1976, in Mohawk she married Milton "Larry" Eddy. Their loving union lasted 30 years until Larry's passing in 2005. Phoebe had been a devoted member of the Leonardsville United Methodist Church. She was an avid collector of "used items" for resale.She is survived by her sons Kenneth Eddy, David Eddy, and Charles Eddy; her brother and sister in law, Dan, Sr. and Jean Horning, of Mohawk; her brother Claude Horning and his companion, Marion.Funeral services will be held in the spring at a time to be announced. Interment will be in Brookfield Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are in the care and personal direction of Jeffrey T. Paul, Director, of the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield.In memory of Phoebe, kindly consider a donation in her name to the Leonardsville United Methodist Church.
