Patricia L. Mace ParkhurstMadison-Patricia L. Mace Parkhurst, 59, passed away peacefully at her home, with the love and support of her family, on Thursday, January 18, 2018, following a courageous battle against cancer.She was born in Munich, Germany, on July 30, 1958, the daughter of Clyde L. and Joyce J. Minero Mace. As a young lady, she saw the world as the daughter of an US Army Serviceman. Patty graduated from Pacific Grove High School Class of 1975. She eventually settle in the west coast of California, then migrated to Navada. Patty was a great advocate for the environment. She started her career with a position with the US Department of Interior, Bureau of Mines. Later in her life, Patty moved from Nevada to Central New York. She became an intricate part of many local auto dealerships. Her love for her family was inspirational and refreshing. She had a fond love for Bingo and dancing. Patty also loved a road trip, driving around and "jamming" to the radio.Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Bill, her son and daughter-in-law, Mike and April Parkhurst. Her grandchildren and many, many, friends, also survive Patty.There will be a "Celebration of Patricia's Life," to be held at the Solsville Hotel, on Saturday, February 3, 2018, from Noon to 3PM. Family and friends will gather in remembrance of Patty for food, refreshments, and fellowship. Patty's son, Mike, will be offering his talents as the DJ for the event. There will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
