Patricia A. CordellKirkville-Patricia A. Cordell, 79, of Fyler Road, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 11, 2016, at The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing Home in Chittenango.She was born in Syracuse, on January 16, 1937, the daughter of the late Jared and Ruth Saunders Scolfield. Pat attended Kirkville High School. On April 11, 1954, in Manlius, she married Floyd Cordell. Their loving union lasted 52 years, until Floyd's passing in 2006. Pat retired from the East Syracuse-Minoa School District, where Pat had been a School Bus Driver. She had a love of music and would sing and play guitar at various venues. She also had a love for camping in Old Forge and various crafts. Pat will most be remembered as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.She is survived by her beloved children, Debbie, and her husband, David Hard, of Jackson, TN, Douglas, and his wife, Janice Cordell, of Kirkville, Daniel Cordell, of Syracuse, Rick Cordell, of Minoa, and Tina Wise, of Kirkville; her brothers and sisters, Howard Scolfield, of Texas, Ronnie, and his wife, Kathy Scolfield, of Minoa, Gary, and his wife, Darleen Scolfield, of Kirkville, Bertha Carmen, of Chittenango, Linda Fleet of Minoa, Nancy Kingsley of Canastota and Sherry Burdo of Canastota. Patricia is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close friends.Patricia was predeceased by her husband, Floyd, brother, Jared, and her sister, Jackie.In keeping with Pat's wishes, there will be no calling hours. Funeral services will be held at the convenience of Pat's family. Interment will be in Kirkville Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
