Pamela L. MilesWaterville-Pamela L. Miles, 58, a former Madison resident, and more recently of the School House Apartments, peacefully passed on Thursday, October 4, 2019, at the Faxton-St. Luke's Medical Center, following a courageous battle against cancer.She was born in Oneida, the daughter of the late John F. Nolan, Sr. and Catherine Bristol Nolan. Pam was raised in Madison and was a graduate of the Madison Central High School. At the United Methodist Church in Oriskany Falls, in 1982, she married Richard Miles. Their loving union lasted 34 years, until Dick's passing in 2016. Pam was a stay at home mom, who loved caring for her family. Pam and Dick loved their home in the woods known as the Farm. They kept animals and Pam was proud of her gardening skills. Pam and Dick loved to have company at the farm, especially their children and grandchildren. Pam was a devoted wife and mother. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren. Pam is survived by her beloved daughter, Katie Eastman, and her husband Jesse, of Watertown her step-son Jeff Miles, and his wife Jennifer, of East Berlin, PA; her siblings, Daniel Nolan, and his life companion, Julie Smith, of North Carolina, Veronica Risley, and her husband, Christopher, of Pine Woods, Patricia Cochrane, and her husband, Phillip, of Indiana, Clifford "Fred" Nolan, of Earlville, William Nolan, Sr., and his wife, Grace, of Brookfield, Karen Howe, and he life companion, Albert Austin, of Madison, Susan Hartle-Wilkinson, of Lelands Pond and John F. Nolan, Jr., of Earlville; her beloved and cherished grandchildren, Catherine Elizabeth Eastman, Mathew James Eastman, Ellie Florence Eastman, Anne Virginia Miles and Evan Nathan Miles Pam also leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews. Pam was predeceased by her parents, John, Sr., and Catherine; her husband, Richard; her brother Charles; and her sister, Lucille Bienkowski. In keeping with Pam's wishes, funeral services will be private. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
