Nancy L. Geruntino
Waterville-Nancy L, Geruntino, 76, passed away peacefully at her home, on Monday, February 2, 2026, at her home, following a lengthy illness, at her some surrounded with her children at her side.
Nancy was born in Rome on August 21, 1949, the daughter of the late Richard Youngs and Hazel Davis Youngs. Nancy was raised locally attended various schools. For a few years, she worked at the Waterville Knitting Mill. Nancy later went on to further her education and obtained a New York State Certified Nursing Assistant License She had worked numerous years at Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton. Always a mother at heart, Nancy cared for patients with love and compassion. This same love and compassion was her legacy as a devoted mother and grandmother.
Nanacy is survived by her children: Connie (Aaron) Forward of Bouckville, and Eric Geruntino of Waterville; a daughter-in-law Paula Geruntino of Spring Hill, TN; her sisters Sue Brayman of Rome, and Hilda (Jim) Green of Durhamville. Nancy is also survived by her beloved and cherished grandchildren: Steven Buell of Syracuse, Collene Smith of Bouckville, Aaron Forward of Bridgeport, Micha Geruntino and David Geruntino , both of Spring Hill, TN, a great grandson Kyson Smith Jr.; sisters-in-law Betsy Youngs and Pat Youngs. Nancy is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and close beloved friends.
She was predeceased by her parents Richard and Hazel, her beloved and cherished son Charles Geruntino, her brothers: Robert Youngs, David Youngs and Larry Youngs ; and a cherished nephew Doug Youngs.
Nancy’s family came together privately, to honor her life, on Wednesday, February 4. 2026, at the Paul Funeral Home, of Madison. There will be no public calling hours, interment services will be private. Compassionate and personal care is being provided by Jeffrey T. Paul, Director, of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
