Lucinda (Cindy) Snow LangmanLas Vegas, NV-Brookfield, NY-It is with great sadness and heavy hearts that we announce that Lucinda (Cindy) Snow Langman passed away on April 30, 2019 at the age of 64. After a courageous battle with cancer. She was called to Heaven while her loving family was by her side at the Nathan Adelson Hospice Center in Las Vegas, Nevada.Cindy was born on July 10, 1954 to John and Alice (Carney) Snow of Brookfield. She attended Brookfield Central School and went on to Hudson Valley Community College. She married Karl Langman on January 4, 1975, and had three children. After traveling over the years due to Karl's military career, they ended up settling in Las Vegas. Cindy made many friends everywhere she went. She worked at the Santé Fe Casino and then held an Administrative Assistant position in the Education Department at the College of Southern Nevada (CSN). While working full time, Cindy received her Associate of Applied Science from CSN in 2005 and her bachelor's from the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) in 2009. She was working on the completion of her Masters in Counseling at UNLV when she became ill. Cindy also volunteered at The Shade Tree, a shelter for women and children, Three Square Food Bank; and Military Charity Offices. Cindy loved spending time with her family and making memories. She was a very special lady!Cindy is survived by her husband, Karl. Her three children, along with their spouses: Lisa and Brandon Renfro, Steve and Courtney Langman, and Chris and Jamie Langman. Her beloved grandchildren: Kaylee, Emma, Morgan, Averey, Cadence, Gavin, and Bailey. Her brothers and sisters: Doreen and Loren Corbin, John and Carla Snow, Cleave and Laurie Snow, Polly Belfield, Barbara Suydam, and Debora and Jody Meeks. Cindy will also be remembered by her many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.She is predeceased by her parents John and Alice Snow and her oldest sister, Brendy Schermerhorn. As the number of chairs around the kitchen table becomes fewer, we will continue to gather around it to reminisce about old times, share memories, laughs, and tears. Family, relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass Service at St. Bernard's Church on July 27, 2019, at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at later date at the convenience of her family.ServiceSaturday, July 27, 2019 10:00 AM
