Louis A. Ciccone, Jr.Eaton-Louis A. Ciccone, Jr., 74, of Leland's Pond, passed away peacefully, Saturday. October 14, 2017, at Community Memorial Hospital, Hamilton.Lou was born in Utica, on December 2, 1942 the son of Louis, Sr., and Rose Rakowski Ciccone. He was a graduate of Proctor High School. Lou had worked over 20 years as a "Master Cheese Maker," for the Caruso Cheese Company, of Utica. On September, 28, 1963, in Salisbury Center, Lou married Lillian Gilgallon. In 1975, Lou retired from Caruso Cheese to start his dream, his own restaurant. Together, Lou and Lil, along with other family members, remodeled an old building in Bouckville, The Fireside Restaurant was born. Lou and Lil ran the restaurant together, until Lil's passing in 1997.Lou is survived by his brother, Frank Ciccone, of Anchorage, AK, and a niece, Kimberly Jo Ciccone, also of Anchorage, AK; and his companion, of several years, Linda Head.Private family funeral services were held on Thursday, October 19, 2017 at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
