Linda L. WinnOriskany Falls. Linda L. Winn, 53 passed away peacefully at home Feb 5 2020, and is once again with her son Nicholas; in the arms of our Lord.Linda was born September 28 1966, the first and only daughter of Larry A and Agnes Hazzard Winn of Augusta. She attended school at Madison Central School and graduated class of 1985. Linda worked at Harding Nursing Home in Waterville, NY for 25 years in the housekeeping department. There she was able to work along-side her mother Agnes, and close aunt Ellie. Over many years she built friendships and cared for the people she encountered daily. In 2009, she was honored at a Harding's for her years of dedication and hard work. Linda loved being with her parents and keeping up with her six brothers. In 1991 she had her only son, the light of her life, Nicholas Michael. She raised her son with her same family values. Daily visits with family members, just across the lawn. Camping on the property, day trips and outings where everyone was welcome. She spent her life on the family property and always kept her door open for her many nieces and nephews to pop in. Linda spent her last several years doting on her parents and enjoying a heartfelt attachment to her dog, Blaze. She found support and friendship among the ladies of her TOPS group she attended and took any chance to catch up with family and friends. Linda will be remembered for her love of family, old fashioned values, strong mind and a voice just shy of her mother's.Linda is survived by her 6 brothers. James R. Winn, Douglas E. and Lisa Brady Winn, Thomas C. and Diana Evans Winn, Willie K. and Barbara Diehl Winn, Allen L "stubby" Winn, Larry A " Chad" Winn. Her uncle William Hazzard, Aunt Charlene and Donald Hartman, Aunt Marilyn Hazzard, and her uncle Donald "Toots" Winn: 6 nieces; 11 nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews and many cousins.Linda is predeceased by her parents Larry A and Agnes M Winn, her son Nicholas M. Winn and her great nephew Adrian N. Kennedy.Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Sunday, February 16, 2020 from 1-3 PM, at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Funeral services will be held in the spring, when Linda will be laid to rest, next to her beloved son Nicholas. Interment will be in Madison Village Cemetery.
