Leslie M. VonDauberEarlville-Leslie M. VonDauber,68, of Fayette Street, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2016, at the Bassett Medical Center, with her loving husband, Jack, and her children, by her side, following a lengthy illness.She was born in Utica, on August 25, 1948, the daughter of John and Gloria Budlong Gilliland. She attended Waterville High School and went on to pursue her Licensed Practical Nursing License. Leslie was united in marriage to John W. "Jack" VonDauber. Leslie was President of Family Home Care, Inc. The company provided essential home care to many local homebound patients. Although a caregiver, she will mostly be remembered as a devoted and loving wife, daughter, mother and grandmother. Leslie was of the Catholic faith.She is survived by her beloved husband of over fifty years, Jack; her three sons and their wives, John and Donna VonDauber, of Hamilton, James and Eloine VonDauber, of North Norwich, Joseph and Michelle VonDauber, of Apex, NC; her daughter and partner, Jennifer VonDauber and Theresa Boisey, of Sherburne; her two brothers, Michael Brooke, of Chandler, AZ, and Randell Brooke, of Lee Center; seven grandchildren, Matthew, Michael, Jessica, Jenelle, Sophia, Ellie and Julia; several nieces and nephews.Leslie was predeceased by her father, John and mother, Gloria.In keeping with Leslie's wishes, funeral services are private and at the convenience of her family.
