Lawrence Russell Munz Lawrence (Larry) Russell Munz passed away peacefully, after a courageous battle with cancer, at the Community Memorial hospital on April 12th, 2018, with his family by his side. He was born on August 21st, 1957 in Utica, NY. He grew up and attended school in Hamilton NY, where he lived with his maternal grandparents, Russell and Genevieve Crumb-Tuzzo.He left behind his wife of 33 years, Vivienne Munz, his three children Brandon, Sean, and Heather Munz, and his one granddaughter, Brooke Elizabeth. Larry took great pride in his work. He worked at the Auto Clinic in Hamilton, NY for over 20 years. Recently, he was working at the Raymond Corporation in Greene, NY. He was a lifetime member and volunteer of the Hubbardsville Fire Department. He was also a lifetime member of the Hubbardsville Mall Coffee Club.Larry loved all animals, but he had a special place in his heart for dogs. He also loved to grill, The Yankees, his Harley Davidson, and enjoying a cold one (or two) with his, ‘Pizza Night' friends at his house on Cole Hill. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to your local animal shelter in Larry's honor. A very special thanks to the wonderful care provided by the staff at the Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, NY. Your hard work and compassion did not go unnoticed; you touched our hearts and comforted our spirits in the darkest of times.
