Julie Elizabeth Rockholz

Julie Elizabeth Rockholz, 42, of Tempe Arizona died unexpectedly on March 14, 2023.  Julie was born on October 12, 1980 in Denver, Colorado to Kathryn Venezia Rockholz and the late Philip Gardner Rockholz. 

Julie grew up in multiple states and countries, traveling with her family during her father’s military career.  She graduated high school in Anniston, Alabama and studied at Bucks County Community College in Newtown, Pennsylvania. After moving to Florida, she worked for ten years at PRL Euro Cafe in Hollywood and held multiple positions at the Broward Center for the Performing Arts in Ft. Lauderdale; after which, she spent four years lovingly caring for her nieces in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania. In 2019 she moved to Tempe, Arizona, where she was happily employed as an Estate Manager.  Julie also enjoyed making jewelry, turning her life-long hobby into a small business.

Julie is survived by her mother, Kathryn Rockholz and fiancé, Eric Goodman; her older sister, Kristin Burgess and partner, Steven Payne, all of Oriskany Falls, NY; two nieces, Jazlyn and Alannah Burgess of Jacksonville and Weaver, AL; her younger sister, Vanessa Rockholz and husband, Rohel DelaCruz Leon; three nieces Phebie, Scarlet and Caroline Rockholz, all of King of Prussia, PA; and her beloved Jack Russell Terrier, Oni. Julie was preceded in death by her brother Paul and her father Philip Rockholz.

A graveside service and internment will be held at 12 noon on Friday, July 7, 2023 at Cedar Grove Cemetery, 638 Broad Street, New London, CT 06320. Funeral arrangements are in the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.  To offer a condolence, please visit: paulfuneralhome.net
