Julia A. WoottonBouckville-Julia Ann Wootton, 78, passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2021, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Hamilton, with her beloved family at her side.She was born on November 20, 1942, in Rome, the daughter of the late Chester and Alice Wolverton Wolicki. Julia was raised in Rome and graduated and attended Rome Free Academy. In later years, she lived her life in the Erieville-Eaton areas. Julia had been employed over 25 years, at Colgate University in the Custodian Department. She retired in 1996 due to her disability. Julia enjoyed bowling and was a member of the Hi Skor Bowling League. Julia was a, "Family Girl," coming from a large family of ten other siblings. She enjoyed anytime her family could gather, no matter the occasion, or if there were many or a few, all that matter was family and togetherness. She had a deep and devoted love of her grandchildren, and great pride in her children, and especially her whole family. Julia touched many people in her life, and will be deeply missed by all, especially, by her daughter and son -in-law, Becky and Morris Smith of Bouckville; her son and daughter-in-law, Harry "Butch" and Marietta Wooton of Madison; her grandchildren Eric Smith and Brian Smith; her siblings, Chester "Butch" Wolicki of Cache, OK; her sister and brother-in-law, Anna and Garel Sternburg of Eaton, and her sister Amelia Wolicki of Eaton; and her sister-in-law, Barbara Wolicki, of West Eaton. Julia also leaves behind, "a boat load" of nieces and nephews.She was predeceased by her parents, Chester and Alice; her former husband Harry "Sonny" Wooton; her five brothers: Henry, Robert, Walter, Carl, and Francis; and her sisters Eleanor and Kathleen.In keeping with Julia's wishes, her family will gather privately to honor her life.
