Jule W. White

Hamilton-Jule W. White, 84, passed away peacefully, on Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Upstate University Hospital with her cherished daughter, Lana, at her side.

Jule was born on May 19, 1941, in North Dakota, the daughter of the late Clarence G. and Lillian May Hackett Knutson.  She was raised in North Dakota where she graduated high school.  In her later years, she had lived in Connecticut where she had a career in the banking industry.  For the last ten years, Jule has resided at Madison Lane Apartments.  She enjoyed her neighbors and the activities at Madison Lane.  She was a well-known seamstress and was always there to help anyone in need with her expertise.  Jule was also a creative crafter, always creating crafts, especially realistic floral arrangements for her church, friends, and family.  Jule was a dedicated member of the Madison United Methodist Church.  She was a caring grandmother who loved her grandchildren dearly.  Jule’s family was the “Center of her World.”

She is survived by her “best” friend, and constant companion, her daughter Lana Gardiner, and Lana’s daughter Alexandra; her son David White, and his children: Brianna, Amber, and Connor; her sister Gayle of North Dakota; her Madison Lane Family and her church family.

Jule was predeceased by her parents Clarence and Lillian, and her brother Marvin, and her sisters Connie, and Ardy.

Her funeral will be held on Sunday, June, 8, 2025, at 1 PM, at the Madison United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Jennifer Neidhart, pastor, officiating.   There will be a reception following the funeral service in the church’s fellowship hall. There will be no calling hours, interment services will be private.   Compassionate and personal care is being provided to Jule, and her family by Jeffrey T.
