Judith E. Welsh Strong 1941-2018ORISKANY FALL-Judith E. Welsh Strong, 76, passed away Saturday, February 24, 2018 at the Betsy Ross Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Rome with her loving family by her side.Judith was born July 27, 1941 in Utica, a daughter of the late Charles and Katherine (Buell) Welsh. She was an alumna of Waterville Central Schools. On July 12, 1959, Judith married Tony Strong. For 59 years, Judith and her beloved husband Tony, shared a blessed union and relished in the fact that together they raised such a fine and loving family. Judith is survived by the love of her life, Tony; 2 daughters, Penny Strong-Collins and Candi Roberts; 1 son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Beulah Strong; her grandchildren, Dylan Collins, Joey and Hunter Roberts, Matthew, Laura and Andy Strong, Morgan Lewis and Kristen Miller; great grandchildren, Lyla Hayden, Eric Michael Roberts, Rhen Hayden Collins; 6 siblings, Karen Burnett, Pat Strong, Barbara Crumb, Laurie Welsh, Gene Sinardo, and Glen Welsh. A beloved niece Carla Strong and many additional nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her siblings, Linda Godfrey, Charles Welsh, Howard Welsh, Kathy Paino, Richard (Dicky) Welsh, William Welsh, and Donna Welsh; 2 beloved twin aunts, Elsie and Nan Buell and a beloved niece, Debbie Paino. Calling hours for Judith's dear family and friends will be held Saturday afternoon, March 3, 2018 from 2:00-4:00 at the Paul Funeral Home, 3592 South St., Madison, NY with a memorial service to follow at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith's memory may be made to the Knoxboro Community Church.
