Jennifer M. AkinsMadison-Jennifer M. Akins, 32, a life resident of Madison, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 21, 2016.She was born a twin on June 20, 1983, in Hamilton, the daughter of James and Melody Lovett Akins. Jennifer graduated from Madison Central School. She had an effervescent personality and a smile that would brighten the room.Jennifer is survived by her parents, Jim and Melody; her children Connor, Andrew, Lily and Alec; her sister Jessica Clark; Jennifer's twin sister, Janette Akins, and her partner, Amanda Merriman; her brother James Akins, Jr., and his wife Kayla; her paternal grandmother, Della Pittman; her maternal grandparents, Milford and Beverly Lovett: several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jennifer is also survived by her best friend, Candace Clemens and family.Jennifer was predeceased by her paternal grandfather, Abel Pittman.A celebration of Jennifer's life will be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016 from 3-5 PM at the Madison United Methodist Church. Interment services will be private and at the convenience of the family.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.In lieu of Flowers, and in memory of Jennifer, please consider a donation to either Madison Ambulance or the Madison United Methodist Church.
