James H. RobinsonUtica-James H. Robinson, 92, a former Hubbardsville resident, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2021, at The Grand of Utica.He was born on May 30, 1929, in Syracuse the son of the late Howard and Hilda McClouskey Robinson. Jim was raised in Syracuse and was a high school graduate. He went on to serve his Country in the U.S. Army during the Korea War. Jim enjoyed his career as a City of Syracuse Police Officer. He had a second career where he retired from New York Central Railroad.Jim was one of nine siblings that included: Howard Robinson, Jean Robinson Buonocore, Donald Amlott, George Amlott, Edward Amlott, William Amlott, Judy Felshaw and Susan Higgins. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. For the last several years, Jim was cared for by his adopted family, Justin and Heather Crennan and their children, Emma and Nataleigh.There are no planned services at this time. Jim's burial with Military Honors will take place at White Chapel Memorial Gardens, at his family's gave site in the spring.
