Clinton-James J. Robertson, 82, passed away peacefully at the Martin Lutheran Home on January 3, 2021, from complications due to COVID 19.Jim was born in Cleveland, Ohio on July 16, 1938, the son of the late James and Grace Ward Robertson. On October 27, 1958, he married Joyce Wheatley. They had lived in both Clarks Mills and Vernon and different periods of their lives. Joyce predeceased Jim in January of 2014. He had been a self-employed handy-man with a specialty in appliance repair. Jim was always there to lend a helping hand in his community. He had been a former member of the Clarks Mills Fire Department, Sons of the American Legion Post of Clarks Mills and Assistant Boy Scout Leader of the Clarks Mills Boy Scout Troop. Jim was raised in a large family and was especially proud and dearly loved his children and grandchildren.He is survived by his children: William (Helen) Robertson, Ralph Robertson, Kelly Blue and Kimberly Robertson; his sisters Sherry Marsh, Frances Randazzo, and Florence; his brother Thomas Clark; 13 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.Jim was predeceased by his parents Jim and Grace; his beloved wife Joyce; his beloved children: Juanita Robertson-Doolen, Jhon Robertson Jymme Lynne Robertson; his siblings Wallace, Jean Linda, Beverly and Laura. He was also predeceased by his son-in-law Victor Blue.In keeping with Jim's wishes funeral services will be private and at the convenience of his family.
