James W. Boss

Oriskany Falls-James W. Boss, passed away peacefully at his home, with the love of his family at his side on Monday, July 4, 2022.

James was a proud Air Force Veteran, devoting 20 years of service in aircraft maintenance, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he started a second career at the Oneida County Airport. James had love for aviation and even a stronger devoted love for his family.

James leaves behind his loving wife of 55 years, Anna; his daughters, Linda and James Rogers, and Sheila and Keith Pattison; his sons, James II and Diane Boss, and Brian and Jodi Boss; 8 beloved grandchildren, and 8 beloved great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his father Edward Boss, his mother and step-father Minnie and Robert Jones, his beloved son Edward Boss, his beloved granddaughter Christina Judge, his brother Frank Boss, his sister Rose Boss, his step brothers Stanley and Bruce Jones.
