Jacob G. "Jake" Van OrmerOriskany Falls-Jacob G. "Jake" Van Ormer,31, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 2, 2020, as a result of a motor vehicle accident.He was born in Rome on April 7, 1989, the son of Brian L. and Cynthia L. Wilcox Van Ormer. Jake was raised in Madison, and was a graduate of Madison Central School Class of 2007. He lived life to the fullest, and was an avid "Harley Man." Jake worked as Field Service Engineer for Mitsubishi Heavy Industrial Equipment Repair. He will be remembered as a wonderful and devoted father, a loving son, a proud uncle and a great friend. His glowing heartfelt smile could always brighten anyone's day. His love, his caring, and devotion will be missed by all who loved Jake.He is survived by his beloved children Graham Van Ormer, Mia Van Ormer and Emmilynn Van Ormer; his parents Brian and Cindy Van Ormer; his sister Kimmee (Brian) Van Ormer- Shaw; his brother Mitchell (Britany) Van Ormer; a special nephew Klein Van Ormer; his maternal grandfather Klein Wilcox; his paternal grandparents Ronald Van Ormer, Patricia McLeland and Jim "Poppy" McLeland. Jake is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends. Jake's funeral services will and burial will be private. Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 11 AM until 1 PM at the Paul Funeral Home, 3592 South Street, Madison.
