Holly Lee Hollingsworth BurgessEarlville- Holly Lee Hollingsworth Burgess, 53, passed away Friday, May 27, 2016, at Crouse Hospital, Syracuse. Holly was born to Shirley and Myron C. "Mike" Hollingsworth on November 8th, 1962 at Rome Air Force Base, Rome New York. She graduated Hamilton Central School in 1981. She joined Madison County Head Start in 1990 where she worked for 26 years. Holly had a passion for all things dogs, and volunteered her time to Wanderers' Rest Humane Society via Second Chance thrift shop. She enjoyed reading novels, and motorcycle rides, crossword puzzles and most of all spending time with her family.Surviving are her mother Shirley (née Stevens) and Richard "Dick" Brantis of Arizona; her sons, Nathan Burgess, Charles Hollingsworth, Victor "Jesse" Burgess; her daughter-in-law Amanda Burgess and grandson Victor Burgess Junior, of Morrisville; her brother and sister-in-law, Richard and Kristen Brantis of New Jersey, her brother, Daniel Hollingsworth of Arizona: her aunt, Wanda Stevens; and grandfather Charles Stevens, both of Florida, and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Also surviving are her longtime companion James Fox, as well as her best friends Mary Putnam and Christine Selinsky. Holly was predeceased by her father Myron C. "Mike" HollingsworthCalling hours will be held at Paul Funeral Home in Madison New York on Friday June 3rd at 2:00 until 4:00 pm. A brief committal will be held at Peterboro Cemetery for family. A celebration of Holly's life will be held in her memory at Cornell Cooperative Extension, Morrisville from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm, following the committal service on Friday.
