Helen J. AmmonHamilton-Helen J. Ammon, 74, passed away peacefully, on Friday, December 28, 2018, with the love and support of her family at her side, at Oneida Healthcare Center.She was born on July 17, 1944, in Oneida, the daughter of Clifford and Della Sanford Jones. Helen graduated from Morrisville-Eaton High School. On March 24, 1963, Helen married William C. Ammon, Sr., at the Morrisville Community Church. Their joyous union lasted for 41 years, until Bill's passing in 2004. Helen had worked many years as a home healthcare aide. She had also been a licensed beautician, and also had worked at the Adela Mae Beauty Shop. She was a deeply devoted wife, mother, and grandmother, who cherished every moment with family and friends.Helen is survived by her son William C. "Chuck" Ammon, Jr., his wife, Priscella, and their son Cody W. Ammon, and his fiancée, Ashley Colvin; her daughter, Terrie Ammon, of Hamilton: her brother William R. Jones, and his wife, Margaret, of Florida. Helen is also survived by her two nieces, a nephew, and many close friends.Helen was predeceased by her parents, Cliff and Della, and also her beloved husband, Bill.In keeping with Helen's wishes, funeral services will be at the convenience of the family.
