Georgianna L. Golden
Brookfield-Georgianna L. Golden, 65, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at the home of her sister, Jenny; following a valiant two year battle against cancer.
She was born on December 17, 1957, in Utica, the daughter of the late George W. Wyman Jr., and Dawn A. Risley Wyman. Georgie was a life resident of Brookfield and North Brookfield, and was a graduate of Waterville High School. She had made her career of “being there” for others. She had worked in housekeeping at the Colgate Inn. She had previously been employed for many years at Hamilton College. She had a fondness of the Slot Machines at the area’s casinos. Georgie had a big heart; she was always there for family and friends, asking for nothing in return. She was a devoted mother and a constant companion for her sister Jenny. She will deeply missed by all that loved and cared for her.
Geogie is survived by her two beloved children, Robert F. Perry Jr., and her daughter Marjorie, and her husband Jason Tanny; her cherished grandchildren: Dalton, Nathan, and Nicholas; her siblings: Robert Wyman, Mike Wyman, Ronnie Wyman, Jerry Wyman, Jenny Perry, Candy Wyman, and Aaron Wyman. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and many close friends.
She was predeceased by her parents George Jr. and Dawn; her sister Robin M Wyman Hadley; and a brother Shawn B. Wyman.
Services will be held in the spring in North Brookfield Cemetery. Georgi and her family are being provided personal care by Jeffrey T. Paul, Director, of the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield. To offer a condolence or share a message, please visit: paulfuneralhome.net
