"FUD" King Jr., 66, passed away at his home, surround with the love and support of his family, on November 30, 2020, following a lengthy illnessHe was born in Brookfield on September 20, 1954 the son of the late Frederick Sr. and Rosileen Owen King. FUD had lived his life in Brookfield and was a friend to all in the community. In his life he held many jobs to include Scully Sanitation and Guilford Mills. Most of all he was an excellent handy-man. More than not, he would help people in the community and ask for nothing in return. FUD was a unique and down to earth individual. To know FUD, you had a friend for life that would always be there no matter the need. He will be deeply missed by all the hearts he touched, all that he shared his humor with, and the good memories he helped to create.FUD is survived by his son Christopher Dye of Pittsfield, MA; his two sisters, Gloria Sprinkle, of North Brookfield, and Melanie King, of West Winfield; his seven brothers, Tony (Denise and Mitzie) King of Waterville, John (Theresa) King, of Brookfield, Warren (Debbie) King of West Winfield, Rich (Candy) King of Brookfield, Bart (Karen) King, of Brookfield, Matthew (Melissa) King, of Bridgewater, and Rudy (Becky) King of Brookfield. FUD is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many close special friends.FUD was predeceased by his father Frederick, and his mother Rosileen, and his brother Henry "Hank" King.FUD's family would like to give a special thank you to his special friend and aide, Jessica Baum of Oriskany Falls, who went above and beyond her call of duty. Family funeral services will be private. There will be a visitation to be held on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield from 11AM until 1 PM. Due to the current Covid-19 Crisis, facial masks must be worn, social distancing must be maintained and adjusted total capacity must be followed. Interment will be made in Brookfield Cemetery.
