Frances A. Howard Jipson Madison-Frances Anna Howard Jipson, 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 8, 2016, at the Crouse Community Center in Morrisville Frances was born in Stockbridge, NY, on January 19, 1921 to William and Mina Chase Howard. She attended Madison Central School. On February 13, 1941, she married Dan L. Jipson in Oriskany Falls. The couple shared a union of over 51 years, prior to Dan's passing on November 2, 1992. Frances is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Diane Jipson, of Bouckville, two daughters and sons-in-laws Carol and Otto Grinnell, of Madison, and Mary and Bob Jones, of Waterville. She is also survived by a son-in-law, Edwin Buterbaugh, of Madison; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren. Frances was predeceased by a daughter, Janice Buterbaugh in 2011, and two grandsons Paul Jipson in 2012 and Michael Grinnell in 1980. Funeral services for the family and friends, will be held on Thursday, July 14,2016, at 6 PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison. Interment will be in Madison Village Cemetery. There will be no calling hours prior to the funeral services.
