Elwyn Kearn GrayBrookfield-Elwyn Kearn Gray, 92, passed away on Tuesday February 21, 2017, at his home in Okeechobee, Florida.Kearn was born on October 11,1924, the son of the late George and Leola Gray. Kearn was a graduate of Brookfield Central where he was known for his basketball talent. He was a bus driver for Brookfield Central and also worked as an equipment operator for the Town of Brookfield. On August 25, 1949, he married his high school sweetheart, Anna June Booth. Kearn was a true Yankee's fan. He enjoyed fishing on Lake Okeechobee, where he had spent 30 winters. He was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. Kearn will be truly missed. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, June; his four children, Michael Gray , and his wife, Susan, of Leonardsville, , Candace Pope, and her husband, Barry, of West Winfield, Karen June Weaver, and her husband, Randy, of Bouckville, and Stacy Snyder, and her husband, Jerry, of West Winfield; 11 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.Kearn was predeceased by a son, Lance, a grand daughter, Megan, a great grand daughter, Hailey, and a brother, Garth. In keeping with Kearn's wishes funeral services will be private.
