Ella Wootton
Oriskany Falls-Ella Wootton, 84. passed away quietly at St Luke’s Hospital after a short illness, on Friday May 5, 2023.
She was born on August 1, 1938 in Syracuse, the daughter of William and Dorothy Geller. Ella grew up in Central Square with her siblings. Ella is survived by a brother and sister in law Greg and Claribelle of Pennellville, a sister Charlotte of Central Square, a brother and sister n law Bill and Linda also of Central Square. She was predeceased by her brother Earl. She married Don Morey and they had three children; then Don unexpectedly passed away. She then married Albert Wootton in 1967. Albert predeceased Ella in1989. They had two children. Ella also leaves behind a daughter Lillian Cudak of Utica, son Brian Morey of Tennessee, and a son, Albert Wootton Jr. Ella was also predeceased by two sons, Donald Morey and Mark Morey. She had several grandchildren and great grandchildren; that she loved very much along with many nieces and nephews. Ella's started her working career at Lilly White Sales in Oriskany Falls after many name changes by the company and many years of being Compactor Operator she retired, with close to 40 years of service.. She was loved by many. Her door was left opened for everyone if needed. She had a heart full of Love and her arms open for Hugs.
