Edward F. Stolarcyk Jr.


Oriskany Falls-Edward F. Stolarcyk Jr., 67, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Sunday, December 3, 2023.


He was born in Utica on November 5, 1956, the son of the late Edward F. Stolarcyk Sr. and Grace Malhenzie Stolarcyk.  Ed was raised in New York Mills and attended NY Mills High School.  Had had made his working career and retired from D-I Highway Products, a highway guard rail manufacturer in New York Mills.  He had previously worked for the N.Y. Mills Highway Department.  Ed always maintained a close relationship with his mother.  Family vacations with Ed and Grace, along with other family members, were exciting and memorable times.   Ed also loved to be at his Uncle Herbie’s and Aunt Shirley’s farm, it was always Ed’s, ‘happy place.”  He was also a regular at the Clinton VFW. Ed was a devoted son, father, grandfather, and friend.


Ed is survived by his children: Kevin Stolarcyk of Vernon, Edward F. “Eddie” Stolarcyk III, and his companion Kaitlyn Roys of Utica, and Christy (Mike) LaMonica of Virginia and his beloved grandchildren Isabela and Dominic LaMonica; a special cousin Cathy (Craig) VanArsdale. 


He was predeceased by his mother Grace in 2023.


In keeping with Ed’s wishes, his family gathered privately to honor his life on Wednesday December 6, 2023. Interment will be held in spring.  There are no public services currently.  Ed and his family are being provided compassionate personal and professional care by Jeffrey T.
