Dustin L. Peckham
Morrisville- Dustin L. Peckham, 24, passed away on Thursday, February 8, 2024, at Upstate University Hospital, with the love and support of his wife and parents at his side, following a three week fight to overcome injuries sustained in a motor vehicle accident.
He was born in Norwich on December 12, 1999, the son of Kevin and Jennifer Thornton Peckham. He was raised in Hamilton and attended Hamilton High School. He was a proud and loving father, having married Karissa Peckham, and together raised three beautiful children: Payton, age 7, Preston, age 5, and Paisley, age 2. Dustin was a mechanical-minded person, who loved anything that had a motor. Dustin had a strong work ethic and was a great provider to his family. He was employed by Briggs and Stratton in Sherrill. He had previously worked on several farms. Dustin was an avid hunter and outdoors sportsman. He enjoyed motorcycle riding, ATV riding, and snowmobiling. His love for his wife and children knew no boundaries.
Dustin is survived by his wife Karissa; his cherished children: Payton, Preston, and Paisley; his father and stepmother Kevin Peckham and Brandy Miller of Verona; his mother Jennifer Thornton of Sherburne; his sister Sierra Relyea; his brothers: Matthew (Cheyene) Peckham, Ryan Relyea, Alex Peckham, Dakota Copeland, Donavan Peckham, Sawyer Peckham and Carson Relyea, Cody (Sydney) Smith; his brother-in-law and best friend Chase Wyant-Smith. Many aunts, uncles, cousins and in laws also survive Dustin.
He was predeceased by his grandfather Leslie O. Thorton Jr., and Terry Russell step grandfather Bruce Relyea Sr., his stepfather Robert Relyea, his aunt Leslie A. Kupris, and his nephews.
Dustin’s family will come together to honor his life privately for services and interment. There will be no public services. Dustin and his family are being provided with personal and professional care by Jeffrey T. Paul, Director of the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.
