Doug was a hunter and enjoyed woodworking in both their home and at their camp.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, his sons, Joshua Jones and Scott (Kaitlyn) Jones, his stepchildren, Lucas (Becca Hamilton) Jacobs, Damon (Melissa) Jacobs, Leigh Anne (Derrick) Masker, his grandchildren, Chad Masker, Caden Jones, Sydney Jones, Kolton Jones, Kylee Jacobs, Jace Jacobs, Hadley Masker, and Hudson Masker, his sisters, Frances (David Cooke) Jones, Carol (Daniel) Shea, Donna Rutz, several nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and cousins.  He is also survived by his “adopted” son, Dylan Hull, his wife Hannah Rae and their children Mikinley and Walker.  Of late, Doug could be found sitting in his chair watching the New York Yankees, Blue Bloods, or Two and a Half Men with his dog, Bugsy.

He was predeceased by his father, his brother Donald, his nephew Brent Shea, and his brother-in-law Wayne Rutz II.
