Oriskany Falls - Mrs. Dorothy Ann Fradenburgh Ingalls, 81, of Oriskany Falls, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2016, at St. Elizabeth Medical in Uticah, with her loving family by her side.Dorothy was born in Hamilton, NY on December 14th, 1934, the daughter of Charles and Flora (Carpenter) Fradenburgh. She was raised and educated in Sherburne, NY, and was a graduate of Sherburne High School. In Verona, Dorothy married Newell Ingalls. For many years, she was employed with Oneida containers until her retirement. She was a longtime resident of Oriskany Falls and Augusta Center. Dorothy enjoyed gardening, bird watching and her cats. She was a member of Kelly Phillips Post 569 Ladies Auxiliary.Mrs. Ingalls is survived by three daughters, Ann Chadderdon, of Sauquoit, June Cowles of Oriskany Falls, and Eileen Dampf, of Morrisville; six stepchildren and their spouses, DiAnne Ausman, of Texas, Pat and Norman Rentschler, of Utah, Joanne and Bill Lang of Lakeport, Neil Ingalls, of Madison, Andy Ingalls and Barb Burkett, of Marcy, and David Ingalls and Brenda Funess, of West Eaton; Two sisters-in-law, Rosie Ingalls, of Vernon, and Barb Fradenburgh, of Arizona; as well as nine grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Newell. Mrs. Ingalls funeral will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 3:00pm at the Paul Funeral Home, 3592 South St., Madison, NY. A spring internment will be in Deansboro Cemetery. Calling hours for family and friends are Saturday from 1:00-3:00 prior to the funeral service.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Oriskany Falls Fire Department in Dorothy's memory.
