Donna Marie Cowles

Oriskany Falls – Donna Marie Cowles, 80, passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, April 12, 2026, with her beloved husband, Scott, by her side, following a lengthy illness.

Donna was born in Boston, Massachusetts on May 6, 1945. Donna was a very adventurous soul and moved from the East Coast to the West Coast. She worked for many years retiring from Lockheed Martin Aerospace in Los Angeles, California. Throughout her life, she was a “free bird” and loved the freedom and the wind in her face on her Harley Motorcycle. She and her soulmate, Scott made numerous motorcycle trips to just about any destination. Along the highway of life, together they were always making new friends, new adventures, and special memories

Donna leaves behind her soulmate Scott along with many of her motorcycle riding family, and special friends. She’ll always be remembered for the special gatherings that always happened where fun was the main event.

There will be a celebration of Donna’s life to be held on Saturday May 16, 2026, from 2-4 PM, at the Kelley-Phillips American Legion Post in Oriskany Falls. In keeping with Donna‘s wishes cremation has taken place at the Waterville Crematorium. Her final wish was to take one last ride cross country on the Harley with Scott, her final journey from East to West Coast.  “God’s speed my love.”  Compassionate and personal care has been provided to Scott and family, by Jeffrey T.
