Deansboro-Dennis W. Ford, Fordy, age 66, passed away on December 30, 2024, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse, following a long illness.

Dennis was born on November 10, 1958, to Arthur and Hilda (Way) Ford. He grew up in Oriskany Falls and attended Oriskany Falls Union Free School graduating in 1976. Dennis would pursue various jobs including general contracting, working with other contractors and construction companies, he was a skilled craftsman, especially in woodworking.

Dennis is survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law; Mark and Doreen Ford, Caroga Lake; Dale and Florence Ford, East Stroudsburg, PA, and Rev Jack and Penny Ford, Boonville. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and a network of close friends, all of whom he cared very deeply about. He will be missed by all who knew him, he had a heart of gold and would do anything he could to make sure his family and friends were taken care of. He will be especially missed by his friends Corey and Amy Marris and their 2 girls who affectionately called Dennis “Pappy Ford” and by Mercedes Staelens and family.

He was predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Hilda Ford, his brothers, Roger, Rodney, and William, a sister-in-law Jean, and a nephew Trevor.

Following his wishes, there will be no services or calling hours, a celebration of life will be held at The Boro, in Deansboro, NY on Saturday, January 18, 2025, from 2-5pm.
