Denise Lynn Tyo

Bridgewater-Denise Lynn Tyo, 59, lost her battle to cancer on Wednesday October 4, 2023.

Denise was born on November 27, 1963 in Utica to Lester and Lois Davis. She grew up in Leonardville and attended Mount Markham School District. Denise enjoyed cross stitching, reading books, going garage sailing with her sisters, and spending time with her cat, Princess in her free time.

Denise leaves behind two sisters, Dawn (Tom) Roher of West Winfield,  and Marie Effner of Brookfield: a brother, Mark (Vicki) Davis of Mayfield, KY; four children: Randy (Ronda) Maine of Brookfield, Renee (Steve) Boddie of Bridgewater,  Stephanie (Shane) Race of Lee Center, and Zachary Tyo of Bridgewater: five grandchildren, Khloe Maine (12), Nevaeh Race (9), Addilyn Race (8), Colton Maine (7), and Carter Race (5), and many other family and friends.

Denise is predeceased by her father Lester and her mother Lois.

There will be calling hours on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 4-6 PM, followed with funeral services at 6 PM, at Faith Chapel Church, 9635 State Route 20, Bridgewater, New York 13313.  Interment service will be private. Personal and professional care is being provided to Denise and her family by Jeffrey T.
