Hubbardsville-Dean F. Williams, 52, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 1, 2023, at Hamilton’s Community Memorial Hospital, following an apparent cardiac episode.

Dean was born in Hamilton on August 12, 1970, the son of Fred and Joyce Kirk Williams.  Dean was raised in Oriskany Falls and graduated from Waterville High, Class of 1989.  On June 26,1999, he was united in marriage to Christy Dibble.  Dean had retired as a Corrections Officer from the New York State Department of Corrections.  At the time of his passing, Dean was enjoying his new career as a long-haul Tractor Trailer Truck Driver.  He was currently working for TMC of Des Moines, Iowa.  Dean was a fun loving person.  He was a, “Harley Man” who loved long rides on his bike, traveling to different places and making new friends along the way.   He was an outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing and hunting. He liked horseback riding in the State Lands of Brookfield.  He was a devoted and loving father to his children.

Dean is survived by his wife, Christy; his beloved children Jared Williams of Oriskany Falls, and Brooke Williams of Hubbardsville; his parents, Fred and Joyce Williams of Oriskany Falls; his sister Lori Williams of Canastota; Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Dean is also survived by many close friends that he had met on the, “highway” of life.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023, at 3:00 PM at the Paul Funeral Home of Madison.  There will be calling hours at the funeral home located at 3592 South Street in Madison from 12 PM until 3 PM prior to the funeral service.  Interment services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There will be a celebration of Dean’s life to be held at a future date.  Personal care is being provided for Dean and his family by Jeffrey T.
