DR. Robert Wayne Clarke Obituary

He received a B.S. degree from Syracuse University in 1961, M.B.A. degree, from Syracuse University in 1962, and a Ph. D. degree, from the University of Illinois in 1967. Robert had energy for days and loved to walk in Memorial Park every Saturday and Sunday religiously, but not without his faithful Starbucks in hand. He loved his coffee and went there so often, he even had his own signature drink created by the staff, "The Robert." Any given day of the week, you could find him in "his" booth at Houston's Restaurant, he always had a palate for the finer things in life. Eating at home just wasn't an option. Opening Robert Clarke and Associates in 1979, he pursed his passion for numbers and helped thousands of people over the years to manage their finances and taxes, something most people dread doing. He was loving, caring, and forever an optimistic person. He was loved and admired by so many and will be forever missed, but never forgotten, as a part of him will live in all that knew him. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Wesley and Patricia Clarke, and his loving wife, Arlene Clarke. He is survived by his three children: Tom Clarke, and his wife, Ana, Randy Clarke, and Lauren Landrum, and her husband, Doug; he is also survived by six grandchildren: Danielle Lang, Clarissa Clarke, Matt Clark, Samuel Clarke, and Amelia Clarke; and five great-grandchildren: Hannah and Xander Lang, Silas, Barth, Carly and Drew Clarke; his friend and business partner, Julie Morales, and his beloved cats, Cita and Tigger. Graveside funeral services will be held with Military Honors on Sunday, August 5, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Brookfield Rural Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the care of the Paul Funeral Home of Brookfield. To offer a condolence, or share a memory, please visit: paulfuneralhome.net
